It's good,...

But the plucked instrument (I can't remember what it's called) kinda bugs me. It's too generic. Try to refrain from using the default instruments in flstudio. It spoils it... at least for me.

Cilmeron responds:

yeah you're right - other than that - thank you :D

Woah, it's like...

The kick spoils the begining. Take it out, and add an ambient pad instead, and then put the kick in later, after the tune picks up. That would fix your awry begining. Other than that, very nice. Your getting along pretty well with fl studio.

Cilmeron responds:

thank you :) I hope that I do.. I'm playing around with it pretty much..

you r0xx0rz indeed

I recognize the drum loop. My friend redslash used it in one of his songs. Other than that, You manage to keep a good consistency. Pretty good! ^_^

Cilmeron responds:

Thank you :) It's almost just loop-use of the consisting fl-studio loops.. but I pretty much like it anyway :D

Cool...

I think... I'm not sure what to think of this song. Kind of mixed feelings about it. There were a lot of things I liked, but alot of things that just didn't seem to fit.

Cilmeron responds:

:) I know exactly what you mean..

Techno doesn't really fit...

At least not like this. It sounded too submersed. When you make a song like this into a techno song, you have to be a little (okay a lot) more bold. But considering this is only your early endeavers in fl studio, I can't wait to see how your style, and use of the program evolves.

Cilmeron responds:

thanks.. I agree. that song is not that great at all ;D

Hmmm...

When the guitar solo kicks in, I'm reminded of the ballroom dance on ff8. Wich makes me wonder why you didn't use a string ensemble. The guitar could be replaced with a some lyrical strings, with some bassy pizzicato strings to back it up. And then throw in one of those drums that sound like a clock ticking.
That would sound cool. I took a couple points off for the wasted potential.

Cilmeron responds:

hm.. yeah you're probably right.. in fact it's like with all the fl-studio things.. I played around and this songs are the results :D They all have more potential :D

Relaxing... But not very diverse

It could have done with some more patterns. Maybe a base or something. I'm not sure. But it still has a nice atmosphere to it though. ^_^

Cilmeron responds:

Well.. originally it has a narrative introduction etc.. it's a song to thank my fans on sheezyart. So.. it's kinda boring without that voice after all.. it's just background ;D

Very different...

This is very different from your other two songs. They were similar in the sense that they both felt like they could fit into a heist movie or something. This one, I can't place. But that's not a bad thing. Very catchy. Maybe some more patterns couldn't have hurt though.

Wow!

If I'm ever making an animation that even so vaguely calls for a tense, atmospheric, heist-like track... You'll be the first person I call. Completely stunning. There is no real criticism for you, because I can't find it.

You've got some real talent

This is really fun to listen to. Sounds like the soundtrack to a heist movie or something! Very impressive. I'm downloading your stuff.
Review my stuff if you get the chance (i do music and animation)
